Janet Gleave Walden, 73, of Idaho Falls, died August 25, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. She was born to Herbert Gleave and Edith Poole Gleave in Annabell, Utah. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On November 12, 1961, she married Wayne Walden in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were later divorced. Janet developed MS in the mid 1970's. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan-Idaho Falls Village for the past 21 years. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking and riding horses. She is survived by her sons: Mike (Michele) Walden; Jeff (Susan) Walden; and Jason Walden all of Idaho Falls; and Joel (Sara) Walden of Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Melanie (John) Dale of Idaho Falls; and 6 grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eric; and a sister, Myrna Rowberry. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services.
