Janice Elaine Neitzer, 76, passed away July 9, 2023, at Monte Vista Nursing Home in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born on March 3, 1947, the daughter of Jacob and Jessie Neitzer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Janice completed eighth grade in Milwaukee, but additional education was precluded due to epilepsy and developmental disabilities.  In 1963 her family moved to Pocatello, Idaho.   At an early age, Janice became good at the piano and could play music entirely by ear, never having had music lessons.  She enjoyed playing hymns and having folks sing with her.  Janice also spent endless hours working on drawings and paintings, many inspired by her beloved memories of times with Wisconsin relatives, dairy farms, and church conventions.

Janice was always eager to tell people that she made her choice known to serve God on March 18, 1962, a date she never forgot.  She always looked forward to fellowship meetings in the homes of friends and other special gatherings.

Her father and mother preceded Janice in death. She is survived by her brother, Vernon Neitzer and wife, Elda of Montrose, Colorado, nieces: Adria Hosford of Whitecourt, Alberta and Audrey Lutynski of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and nephew, Aaron Neitzer of Montrose, Colorado.  Cousins in WI., ID., MT, and CO also survive her.
