Jason Lee Doupé, 24, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 in the comfort of his home in Idaho Falls. Jason was born November 18, 1990 in Victorville, CA to Craig Allen Doupé and Barbara Jean Wolt-Doupé. He attended Lime Street Elementary in Hesperia, CA, Taylorview Jr. High in Idaho Falls, ID and Idaho Falls High School before he earned his GED in 2012. He worked at Teton Toyota, as a lube tech. He loved skateboarding, longboarding, snowboarding, reading, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, fishing, camping, billiards, music, and art, especially graffiti. Jason had many friends and nicknames such as Jason, DJ, Shifty, Doobie, and Fishhook. Jason enjoyed many things in life, but family and friends always came first and he seized every opportunity be with them. He was a proud and loving dad. He had a great, fun, and loving, personality and could always make everyone laugh. He was a unique, beautiful, and loving soul unexplainable by words and he had an infectious laugh that will ring in our ears forever. He was survived by his mother, Barbara Wolt-Doupé of Idaho Falls; older brother, Ryan Garcia of West Covina, CA; younger brother, Robert Doupé of Idaho Falls; soul mate, Kimberly Klassy of Idaho Falls; daughter, Makiah Green of Idaho Falls; nephew, Wyatt Garcia of Hesperia, CA; niece, Charlotte Garcia of Temecula, CA; and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Doupé; uncle, Joe Doupé; grandma, Sherry Doupé; and grandpa, Edward Doupé. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan 18, 2015 at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
