Obituary

Jason Ray Nathaniel Goshert, 28, of Rigby, died January 6, 2007, at his home in Tempe, Arizona.

He was born September 29, 1978, in Idaho Falls to Richard T. Goshert and Joyce R. Thomas Goshert. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby. In 1996, he graduated from Rigby High School and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello for one year before transferring to the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona, where he was working on a Visual Arts degree.

Following high school he worked for Old Faithful Beverage Company as a merchandiser.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission to New Zealand.

He loved being with his friends and family and playing video games which he wanted to design some day. Jason was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend and will be greatly loved and missed in our lives.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Joyce Goshert of Rigby; a sister, Deidra Goshert of Rigby; grandmothers, Norma J. Thomas of Salt Lake City and Edythe A. Goshert of Idaho Falls; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Ray Thomas and Ray Sylvester Goshert.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garfield LDS 2nd Ward, 71 N. 3700 E., Rigby with Bishop Eric Kunz officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 to9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
