She grew up and attended schools in Anderson, where she graduated from High School. In 1982 she married Charles Troy Donahue in Riverhead, New York. She was a Homemaker, Mother, and Grandmother.

She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.

Jeannie was the light that shown so brightly, she loved life and she loved God and her family, the world is a better place because she was here.

She is survived by her husband Charles, and son Cory of Ammon, a daughter, Ashley (Jared) McIntosh of Anderson, SC; her mother, Ruth Miller, of Anderson, SC; 3 brothers, Brock Stevens (Maggie) of Fort Worth, TX, Alton Weldon (Pat) of Grottoes, VA, and David Weldon (Wanda) of Anderson, SC; 4 sisters; Pat Davis (Doug) of Anderson SC, Sandra Browning of Aiken, SC, Sue Gibson of Anderson, SC, Sherry Clark (Eric) of Columbia, SC, and one grandson.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Shellhouse Funeral Home, 924 Hayne Ave. in Aiken SC. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday October 25, 2006 at the funeral home.
