She was born September 22, 1931, in Rexburg, Idaho, to George Edward Ricks and Sophia Isabell Chandler Ricks. She grew up and attended schools in Rexburg.

In 1948, she married Ray Priest; they were later divorced. On July 31, 1973, she married Thomas Allen Jack. She moved to Oregon and then to Washington State

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She loved to play bingo, and travel.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Jack of Chubbuck; sons: DellRay( Sandra) Priest of Shelley and Lee Priest of Idaho Falls; daughters: Betty Martin (Julian Garcia) of Idaho Falls and Pauline (Cipriano) Ricaldi of Preston; brothers: Franklin Ricks of Shelley and Doyle (Cathy) Ricks of Ft. Hall; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Sandra Jean Nelson and Sheri Rose Lopze; son, Robert Bert Priest; grandsons, Eulilo Lopez and John "Curtis Priest; granddaughters, Angela Marie Priest and Trudy J. Nelson. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Taylor Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the services at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
