Jennifer Leigh Hooper, 33, of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at her home. "Our little spook" was born on Halloween, October 31, 1977, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ronald Dee Hooper and Laurie Kim Rose. She grew up in Idaho Falls; Castle Rock, Colorado; and Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Douglas County High School in Castle Rock. She became an electrician at Pickens Technical School in Aurora, Colorado, and later worked in the customer service field. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed arts and crafts, jewelry, music, shopping, spending time with her family and friends and helping others. Jennifer was a kind, caring, generous person who cherished and loved her children and family very much. She is survived by the following: sons: Jesse Leigh Hooper and Blayden Dee Sertling both of Idaho Falls; daughter, Jasmine Jennette Sterling of Idaho Falls; mother, Laurie Rose of Idaho Falls; step-mother, Linda Hooper of Idaho Falls; father, Ron (Colleen) Hooper of Ogden, UT; brother, Chris (Angie) Hooper of Elbert, Colorado; sister, Rebecca (Allen) Hooper of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and grandmothers: Elva Rose and Rhea Nelson both of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jean Hooper; grandfathers: Virgil Hooper, Francis "Buck" Nelson and Gary Rose. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Idaho Falls LDS North Stake, 955 Memorial Drive with Bruce Rose officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services.
