Obituary

Jennifer Caitlin Anderson King, a radiant, selfless wife, mother, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of forty in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Born on January 18, 1985, at Edwards Air Force Base in Lancaster, California, Jennifer grew up between Kent, Washington, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a joyful spirit that left a lasting mark on everyone she met. The daughter of Kevin Anderson and Terri Swinehart, Jennifer's childhood was filled with playful moments. Her mother fondly remembers toddler Jen strutting through the house in ruffled dresses and white patent leather shoes, her tiny footsteps echoing with delight. Her squeals at spotting a bug. A pet peeve of Jen's was drivers who did not use their turn signals. Guess what, she failed on her first driver's test?

Jennifer married Zack King on October 13, 2023, at the Idaho Falls Courthouse. As a devoted mother to her six children—Oolie, Nathan, Nicholas, Emily, Joseph, and Sarah DiBello—she filled their Idaho Falls home with love, music, and dance. Jennifer spoiled her family with thoughtful gestures, from whipping up Cajun dishes in the kitchen to crafting holiday decorations, especially for her beloved Christmas and Halloween. Zack recalls her selfless love, always ensuring his needs were met, from sneaking chocolates for his sweet tooth to replacing his deodorant before he noticed it was gone. "She filled our home with laughter and music," he wrote, regretting not dancing with her more as she twirled while cooking. She cherished simple joys—chocolate, comfy socks, and her family's happiness. Jennifer's creativity shone in her gardening and crafting, with Grinch-themed decorations a testament to her holiday spirit. Despite her inner struggles with depression, her love for her children and Zack remained steadfast, her warmth and compassion touching all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Zack King; her children: Oolie, Nathan, Nicholas, Emily, Joseph, and Sarah DiBello all of Idaho Falls; her father, Kevin Anderson of Bellingham, Washington; her mother, Terri Swinehart, and stepfather, Jerry Swinehart of Jackson, Louisiana; her younger brother, Staff Sergeant Zachery Jay Davis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and her older brother, Christopher Lee Anderson of Washington.
