Jordyn Nicole Kempkers-Harris, 25, of Idaho Falls, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications related to COVID-19.

Jordyn was born on February 9, 1995, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ron and Christina Drake Kempkers. She grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 2013. She attended Boise State University and Porter House, Inc. At 15, she started working at Maurices and continued to work various retail jobs until she started her career at the INL working as a Radiological Control Technician at Fluor Idaho.

On August 28, 2020, she married the love of her life and soul mate Tristan Harris, after being together for over 6 years.

Jordyn enjoyed RZR riding, snowmobiling, boating, reading, and playing video games, specifically Zelda. She enjoyed watching Harry Potter movies, but her most precious moments were spent with her family and friends.

Jordyn had such a kind, generous, beautiful soul. Her laugh was contagious. She had a gorgeous smile that would light up any room. She was bold, brave, honest, compassionate, and a dear friend to many. She was deeply loved by everyone that knew her. She will be missed dearly and we loved her so much. Until we see each other again, my sweet angel. Fly high Jordyn, we love you!

She is survived by her husband, Tristan Harris of Idaho Falls; her parents: Ron and Christina Kempkers, along with her brother, Nicholas Kempkers of Idaho Falls; Grandparents: Bob and Donna Olsen of Idaho Falls, Marge Kempkers of Idaho Falls, and Mike and Letta Drake of Ridgecrest California; along with many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Family only graveside services will be held from 12-12:30 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. From 12:30-2:00 p.m., friends are invited and highly encouraged to come and share memories of Jordyn at the cemetery. A live broadcast will be available at Facebook.com/coltrinmortuary.
