IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jose Jesus
Garcia
October 23, 1950 – March 28, 2022
Jose Jesus Garcia Hernandez, 71 years old of Idaho Falls passed away on March 28, 2022, after a courageous battle from a heart attack at EIRMC.
Jesus was born October 23, 1950, in Santa Gertrudis, Guanajuato, Mexico. The fourth child born of Amado Garcia and Maria Cruz Hernandez. Jesus was raised on his family ranch in Guanajuato, Mexico with his three other siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Jesus was a very naughty boy being said he was born around the time some of his nephews were born developing a very strong and close bond with them.
At the age of 16 years old, Jesus began to travel toward the north part of Mexico and then came to the United States.
At the age of 13 years old, he met Lupita whom he fell in love with then got married 7 years later.
They had 3 sons and 2 daughters named, Maria De Jesus, Juan, Herlindo, Eduardo, and Maria Guadalupe Garcia.
In 1975, Jesus and his family moved to the city of Mexico where he and his family established for 13 years. He then decided to migrate to the United States and a year later in 1988 reunited all together.
He lived and worked in Los Angeles, California until 1993. Then both he and his wife decided to move to Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jesus worked at King B Jerky for many years as well as worked at Idahoan, and Golden Valley. He then decided to start a small Lawn Care business. Work was one of his passions and became one of his priorities in life. Jesus was a member of the catholic community in Idaho Falls.
Something that was always outstanding about him was the fact that his number one priority was his dedication to the family and well-being of them and others, as well as his good ethic to work.
Some of the things Jesus enjoyed were playing with grandkids and great-grandkids but was the type of person that didn't like people watching him although he would get caught and seemed SUPER happy with them when they were little as well as eating vanilla ice cream with them. He also had to have his salsa en molcajete all the time with all his meals as he loved spicy foods.
He is survived by his wife Maria Guadalupe (Lupita) Garcia, 5 children all of Idaho Falls, ID; 18 grandkids and 23 great-grandkids some from Idaho Falls, ID, and some in Mexico.
He was proceeded in death by his loving (brother) Loreto Garcia, (sister) Sebastiana Garcia, (sister) Maria Garcia and parents Amado Garcia & Maria Cruz Hernandez, granddaughter, Fatima Guadalupe Garcia.
