Joseph Mark Scrogham, 62, passed away on December 20, 2015 at his home.

Mark was born on September 30, 1953 to Norman Devere Scrogham and Edna Scrogham Wilhelm in Idaho Falls, ID. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971. Mark received his undergraduate degree at Idaho State University and later a Master's Degree in Accounting at Colorado State University.

Mark was a long-time Idaho Falls resident, where he worked in public accounting and for a privately-held business, before working many years in various accounting and finance positions at the Idaho National Laboratory. Mark enjoyed mentoring and coaching boys and girls in sports and other youth programs. He was an avid skier, mountaineer and golfer.

Mark was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held numerous leadership positions, including Bishop, High Councilor, Stake Sunday School President and Elders Quorum President.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Scrogham, of Idaho Falls; Sons: Steven (Lindsay) Scrogham of Chicago, IL, and Michael Scrogham of Salt Lake City, UT; Mother: Edna (Kelly) Wilhelm of Idaho Falls; and four grandchildren: Alexandra, Samantha, Andrew, and Evan Scrogham of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers Wade and Steven.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11a.m. at the LDS Church at 1925 49th South in Idaho Falls, Idaho with Bishop John Landers officiating. The family will receive friends on December 22, 2015 from 6:30p.m.to 8p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Milo Cemetery.
