Joyce Kilinski, 75, of Idaho Falls, died on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born on April 19, 1941, in a shack by the railroad tracks near Iona, Idaho, to William Lavern and Rohda Mae Bowcutt. She attended Bonneville High School.

On September 25, 1965, she married Peter Daniel Kilinski in Idaho Falls. Due to Peter serving in the U.S. Navy they moved to New York in 1965, then to California, and then in 1969 they moved back to Idaho Falls. She had 3 children.

Joyce worked as Deputy Treasurer by Mable Bingham. She then became Chief Deputy Treasure under Lila Jordan until she retired in 1998.

She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Joyce had many hobbies and interests: bowling, reading and watching her game shows, her favorites being Price is Right, Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune, which she was an expert at solving. She enjoyed her semi-annual trips to Laughlin, Nevada, for gambling. She made the best Chinese Char Shu Pork.

She is survived by her husband, Peter"Ski" Kilinski, of Idaho Falls, ID; her daughter, Terri (Randy) Scott, of Idaho Falls, ID; her grandson, Nicholas (Melissa) Scott, of Andrews, TX; her sisters: Elva Dalton, of Idaho Falls, ID, Donna (Rodger) Stucki, of Idaho Falls, ID, Sharon Finstead, of Gilbert, AZ; her brothers: Bill Bowcutt, of Idaho Falls, ID, Boyd Bowcutt, of California, Mike (Debbie) Bowcutt, of Spokane, WA. and Jim (Naydene) Larkins, Show Low, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her two sons: Dale and Kevin; her two brothers: Wayne and Roy; and her parents.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2016, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
