Juanita Naomi Gray, 81, of Idaho Falls, died March 10, 2011 at her son's home in Ammon. She was born April 9, 1929 in Montpelier, Idaho to James Peter Jensen and Naomi Phelps Jensen. She grew up in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School with the class of 1947. On July 21, 1947 she married Orin Louis Koberstein in Montpelier, moving to Oregon until his death in 1951 of Polio when she returned to her parents in Montpelier with her two sons. On February 12, 1954 she married Dee Lawrence Gray in Menan, to which 4 sons and a daughter were born. In addition to the loving and nurturing of her children she worked for Rogers Brothers in the late 1960's. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was involved in the Swinging 8's Square Dance group of Ririe. She enjoyed collecting and displaying native American items, crafts, painting and gardening. She felt her family was her greatest accomplishment. Survivors include sons, Terry Koberstein (Luetta) of Antioch, CA, Jeff Gray of Syracuse, Utah, Brian (Cathy) Gray of Idaho Falls, Kevin (Shelby) Gray of Ammon and daughter, Jane (Keith Ellmaker) of Everett, Washington. She has 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dee Gray and sons, Micheal Koberstein and Lawrence Dee Gray. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., March 15, at the LDS 14th Ward building, 651 Gladstone St., Idaho Falls, with Bishop Dean Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends one half hour before services at the church Relief Society room. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary.
