Light a candle in Justine's Memory at the Justine Roman Memorial Website

Justine "Jay" Roman, 18, Idaho Falls native, died February 13, 2009, at the University of Utah Burn Unit in Salt Lake City from complications of an accident at home six months ago.

She was born May 1, 1990 in Boise, Idaho. Parents are Patrick Dana Stephens and Nicki Siepert Stephens. She went to Kindergarten in Boise, and elementary school in Rexburg, before moving to Idaho Falls. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 2008, where she had participated in school choirs and earned a college business credit. She had been accepted and planned to attend beauty college in Rexburg.

She had worked at Cal Ranch, Staker Floral, Sara's Candy Cottage, Sizzler and Rays In & Out.

She had a flair for style and enjoyed her cats, fishing, skateboarding, dance, music, and get together's with her family and friends.

She was a young woman of Christian faith; Justine was responsible, loyal and loving.

She is survived by the following: parents, Patrick and Nicki Stephens; brother, Zakk T. Roman; sister, Stevie Dee Stephens; step-sister, Emily Stephens; step-brothers: P. Mike and Joshua Stephens all of Idaho Falls; grandmother, Ruth Stephens of Pocatello; and grandparents, Don and Neta Siepert of Rexburg.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Calvary Chapel 4250 S. 25th E. Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.
