Keith C. Boam, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at his home. Keith was under the care of his loving wife, Karol and Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Keith was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Wayne and Nora Boam. He was raised on the family farm just North of Idaho Falls. Keith attended schools in the local area and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1953. Keith continued his education at the University of Idaho and graduated in 1957 with a degree in Business Administration. While at the University of Idaho, Keith was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and in 2004, he was recognized for his 50 years of membership in the organization. He remained an avid Vandal supporter throughout his life.

The friendships that Keith made both in High School and college were very important to him and he maintained these cherished life-long friendships throughout his life. Keith was very active in planning his high school reunions and ensured that he did not miss a reunion. Keith also enjoyed attending and visiting with his friends at his weekly coffee clutch group.

Keith married his first wife, Martha and together they had three children: David, Doug and Deborah (all of California). Keith and Martha subsequently divorced. Keith met his wife, Karol Dineen, through his work at Springtown Golf Course and the two were married on May 25, 2001. Keith has a step-daughter, Audra (of California). He has three grandchildren: Cassandra, Clayton and Desiree.

Keith worked for Chrysler Corporation, V.H. Monette Company and Continental Inc. He particularly enjoyed his work in the frozen foods industry and was employed with Stokeley Van Kamp and Lamb Weston. Prior to his retirement, Keith was also the owner and manager of Pleasant Hill Country Club and Springtown Golf Course. Keith and Karol returned to Idaho Falls in 1997.

Keith always loved golf and served as Vice-President of the Senior Golf Association for several years. Keith thoroughly enjoyed his daily golf games, watching The Golf Channel, reading the newspaper and going for walks with Karol.

As per Keith's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Keith and Karol's ashes will be jointly interred in California at a future date. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
