Kim M. Lord passed away peacefully in his sleep March 20, 2009 at Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born January 17, 1953, to Bert and Persis Lord. He attended Shelley schoold and Ricks College.

Kim did not fit society's definition of normal; he was God's idea of normal and what God would want us all to be: an incredibly loving, exceedingly forgiving, patient and courageous person who was a friend to all. He was an extremely talented artist and created his own cartoon characters. He loved learning and was an avid reader. Kim was very knowledgeable about many subjects, and he had a special interest in antiques.

Kim is survived by his brothers, David (Susanne) Lord and Gary Lord; and his sister, Trudy Kinder. He also leaved his beloved cousin and friend, Maria Bleak Sarrett and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and many of his beloved aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Dr. Krell and Dr. Wilson, their staff and Idaho Health and Rehabilitation for the loving care they gave to Kim.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, in the Relief Society room at the Woodruff LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 2055 Coronado in Idaho Falls with Bishop Lee Brundage officiating.

Burial will take place in the Lincoln Cemetery.
