Obituary

Kirk A. Helling, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 26, 2019, at his home.

Kirk was born on December 26, 1960, in Casper, Wyoming to Wilford Lee and Maxine Arrilla (Garrett) Helling. He grew up in Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1980 with his brother Jac.

On July 3, 1982, he married Candace Louise Moxey, and had one daughter together, they were divorced in 1987. He married Maria Maas of Montana in 1999, they later divorced that same year. He has resided in Idaho since 2008 but mainly resided in Sheridan, he also lived in Bairoil, Story, and Casper Wyoming to name a few. He worked as a carpenter by trade and worked for himself and many other companies building/remodeling/restoring homes and businesses such as the Sheridan Inn. He could also repair small engines, operate heavy equipment, mechanic, farrier, and was a "Jack of all trades, master of none".

Kirk enjoyed bowling, billiards, darts, stock car racing, riding broncs, hunting, fishing, kite flying, demolition derbies, softball, water skiing, riding his mountain bike, and just about anything that was outdoors. He was a true Cowboy through and through, had a big heart, and will be fiercely missed by his family and those who loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Benjamin) Linn (Helling) Pancheri of Rigby, Idaho and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Maxine Helling and his brother, Jac Lynn Helling, and all of his grandparents.

Private family services will be in Sheridan, Wyoming at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
