Lance William Knight, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at his home after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer. He was under the loving care of One Source Hospice and the Teton Cancer Institute.

Lance was born on July 31, 1963, in Boise, Idaho, to Dean William and Kareen Lalliss Knight. He was a member of the Shoshone-Bannock tribe. Lance attended Skyline High School.

He was a kind and generous man. He enjoyed serving his family and friends. His friends knew they could call him any hour of the day or night and he would be there for them. In recent years, he overcame lifelong difficulties and had changed his life. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Lance is survived by his parents: Dean and Kareen Knight and his siblings: Kelvin (Tressia) Knight of Pocatello, ID; Cindy Daly of Orem, UT; Celeste (Brad) Peterson of Missoula, MT; Collin (Melissa) Knight of Idaho Falls, ID; Rachelle (Brett) Child of South Jordan, UT; and Alicia (Garry) Cunningham of South Jordan, UT.

Graveside services will be held at a later date within Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho.
