Larry Eldon Tea, 74, of Ammon, passed away on June 3, 2022, at his home. He was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Larry was born on January 23, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ralph Charles Tea and Elda Louise Miller Tea. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School

After high school, he joined the United States Army on October 3, 1968. Through the help of the Army, Larry earned his GED in 1968. He was honorably discharged on October 2, 1974.

On July 13, 1973, he married Cathy Murdock in Idaho Falls. To this union, four children were born. Cathy passed away in 2015. On November 27, 2020, he married Colleen Fyfe.

Larry worked for Mountain Bell/ US West/ Qwest for over 30 years retiring from Qwest.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Tea; his children: Charles (Spring) Tea, Jennifer Liebert, Nicholas Tea, and Rachael (Mark) Bradshaw; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Tea.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Iona 6 ^th Ward, 1040 N. Crimson Dr., Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
