Laurie Kaye Edie, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at her home.

She was born on September 26, 1960, in Castro Valley, California to Darrell Bohi and Kaye Lorraine Cameron Bohi. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Skyline High School.

On August 20, 1982, Laurie married her sweetheart Jeffery Loren Edie in Idaho Falls and they were blessed with two daughters: Shaylene and Shanda, and a son, Brandon.

Laurie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She also had a deep love for her dogs and anything Tweety Bird.

Laurie is survived by her husband Jeffery Edie, of Idaho Falls, Daughters; Shaylene (Asif) Haswarey of Tigard, Oregon, and Shanda (Josh) Tuckett of Nampa, Idaho; her son, Brandon Edie of Idaho Falls; Brothers: Rick Bohi and Jeff (Angie) Bohi both of Idaho Falls. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Darrell Bohi and Kaye Lorraine Bohi.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Idaho Falls Stake Center, 1155 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the service.
