Lila Mountz passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was a resident at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Lila was 93 years old, born on October 25, 1931, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert. She is survived by her three daughters: Vicky Wilding of Apache Junction, Arizona, Cathy Wise, and Nancy Oksendahl both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Lila loved gardening, homemaking, camping, horseback riding, fishing, and pinochle. But Lila's greatest love was her faith. She became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1944 at age 13. She loved studying the Bible and witnessed about it to others at every opportunity. Her loving interest in people was evident to all she met.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on December 21, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4805 S. Sweetwater Way, Ammon.
