Lillian Alleen Logan Barnes, 83, of Idaho Falls, died December 29, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

She was born on April 24, 1939, to Maxie M. and Marie Atkinson Logan in Sumter, South Carolina. Lillian grew up in rural South Carolina with her 5 siblings. She attended schools in Sumter and attended Sumter High School.

Lillian married Bruce E. Barnes on May 25, 1990, in Idaho Falls, ID. She lived for many years in Southern California before moving to Idaho Falls. Along with her husband Bruce, they established and ran Eagle Rock Hydraulics in Idaho Falls prior to their retirement.

Some of her hobbies included camping, fishing, and spending time with family. She enjoyed following her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities. She also loved her dog, and she enjoyed birdwatching. She was devoutly loved, and she supported her family.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Bruce Barnes of Idaho Falls; daughter, Margie Bromen (David) of Dawson, NE; sons: Brice Waters (Carrie) of Idaho Falls, ID, and Clinton Waters (Mary) of Lake Havasu, AZ; stepson, Eric Barnes (Audrey) of Boise, ID, and Jerred Barnes (Tanya) of Nampa, ID; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, McLendon; and her parents: Maxie Logan and Marie Atkinson Schwartzback.
