Lillian Rose Fay Staggie, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her home. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Lillian was born June 18, 1937, in Parker, Idaho to Marcel Victor Rigoulot and Audrey Bernice Sewell Rigoulot. She grew up in St. Anthony, Parker, and Idaho Falls. She attended schools in Idaho Falls.

On December 31, 1953, Lilly married James Peter Staggie Sr. in Idaho Falls. To this union, seven children were born. James passed away on September 26, 2012. Lilly had many interests. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, canning, cooking, puzzles, camping, and playing hand and foot (cards).

She is survived by her daughters: Rose (Deon) Johnson of Idaho Falls, Teresa Holverson of Idaho Falls, and Pennie (Dale) Breedlove of Idaho Falls; her sons: Chuck Staggie of Idaho Falls, Frank Staggie of Idaho Falls, and Paul (Kimmy) Staggie of Idaho Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Audrey and Marcel Rigoulot; her husband, James Peter Staggie Sr.; her son, James Peter Staggie Jr.; two grandsons: Blake Staggie and Andy Johnson; and her brothers: John Rigoulot, Herbert Rigoulot, William Rigoulot, Harry Rigoulot, and Daniel Rigoulot.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.coltrinmortuary.com .
