Lilly Anna Wiemer Richards, 84, of Idaho Falls, died Dec. 22, 2005, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Waco, Nebraska, the daughter of William B. and Lilly Mae Foster Wiemer. She grew up in York County, Nebraska.
She married Harry Strobel on Sept. 19, 1942, in York, Nebraska. He died April 21, 1968. She married James Richards Jan. 30, 1971. He died Nov. 2, l998.
For 25 years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Wiemer Heating. She also worked for JJ Newberrys and Slusser Wholesale.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Even though she never had children of her own, she loved and cared for all of her nieces and nephews. She was a very loving person and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include: 3 sisters: Pearl Heuerman, Sedalia, Missouri Gladys DuPre, Houma, Louisiana Pauline Riegel, Black Canyon City, Arizona 2 brothers: Richard Carl (Eleanor) Wiemer, Idaho Falls, Idaho Roy (Gladys) Wiemer, York, Nebraska 2 sisters-in-law: Bernice Wiemer, York, Nebraska Charlene Wiemer, Seward, Nebraska and her brother-in-law: Francis Calloway, Wisconsin
She was preceded in death by her husbands; brothers, Ralph, Herman, and Bill; sisters, Elta, and Olg.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 7th and Emerson, Idaho Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary.
