IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa Ann
Gentry
October 24, 1963 – April 24, 2021
Lisa Ann Gentry, after a long struggle with her health, returned to our heavenly Father early April 24, 2021, at the young age of 57.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Louise; brother, Jody; her children: Sheena (Shaun) and Robert (Cortnie); along with seven grandchildren, with an eighth on the way. Along with her biological family, Lisa is survived by several souls she has touched in one way or another, and that she loved as though they were her own.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jeff; sister, Lynn; and father, Max.
Lisa regularly attended AA and NA meetings. She was very proud of the time she spent committed to the program. She was always excited to share her latest accomplishments with the people that were important to her. When she started her road to recovery, she probably didn't realize how many important relationships she would build along the way. She received help, as well as gave support and love during her time in recovery. She met and loved so many, and each one of those individuals has influenced and touched her life in a great way.
Even though Lisa's health was a struggle over the years, do not think that a little thing like not feeling well would slow her down. She embraced every chance to have fun. Whenever she found something amusing, she would quickly offer her friends and family a wonderful roar of a laugh that would not soon be forgotten. Lisa liked to be in the center of the action. She had such an enthusiastic and energetic personality. She loved to dance and was usually the first one out shaking it when the music started. She also loved to make a grand entrance to any event with her bright red hair and lipstick that helped her stand out in the crowd. She was full of silly jokes, a helping hand, a nice or not-so-nice word depending on the situation, and a hug when you were feeling down. She also loved to get a rise out of people with her crazy, sometimes off-color, sense of humor. Above all else, she loved her family and God.
There will be no services as Lisa's family has chosen to honor her memory privately. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
