Lisa Kaye Scholes Wise, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at her home.

She was born on November 5, 1965, to Wesley and Luana Shaw Richardson. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1984. After high school, she took many classes earning her accounting degree. Lisa married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Scholes, in 1984.

Their first son, Nicholas, soon arrived and Bruce decided to seek a future in the United States Air Force. He served stateside where the family could be together until he was eventually transferred to the Philippines. Lisa and Nicholas were able to join him and their second son, Justin, was born there. After returning to the States, Bruce and Lisa decided to divorce.

Several years later, she married Richard Wise who was devoted to her and their blended family. Richard's daughter, Charity, became a very special daughter to her. Richard passed away suddenly at the age of 52 in 2017.

Lisa found her peace and joy from her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Nicholas Scholes, Justin (Amy) Scholes, and Charity Wise; her grandchildren: Kamdyn Scholes, Jentry Scholes, Gavin Hensley, and Kadence Wise; her mother, Luana Richardson; and her brothers: Andy Richardson and Alan Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wise, and her father, Wesley Richardson.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00- 3:00 p.m., June 6, 2020, at the New Sweden Hall, 5990 South 45 ^th West, Idaho Falls, with a luncheon to follow. Cremation was under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
