Obituary

Lloyd Clark passed away in his home surrounded by his wife and children on the morning of Monday, March 14th, 2011. He was born on October 13th, 1925 to Frank and Rosalia Lords Clark in Taylorville, Idaho. It was there and in the surrounding area he was raised with his ten other siblings with lots of love, humor, and memorable pranks. His so-called third grade education was earned in the Dewey School before joining the Navy in 1942, where he served in both the European and Pacific theatres of World War 2 as a gun captain and was given an honorable discharge with six medals. After returning to Idaho, he began working as a Carpenter, and construction remained his profession until he retired at age 77, after which he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Lloyd had a daughter, Gayla Ruth, and two sons, Leland Lloyd, who died at birth, and Adam Lloyd. He was also blessed by the love of two daughters, Angela Lyn and Donna Lee, from his second marriage to his loving wife Arelda. A very hardworking, loving, and softspoken man. He will be missed by many. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011, at the Taylor Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, ID. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
