Lois M. Ravenscraft, 85, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 9, 2006, at Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born sept. 9, 1920, in Lafayette, Colorado, to Albert Pierson and Eliza Brown Pierson. She grew up and attended schools in Colorado and she graduated from Lafayette High School She continued her education at the University of Colorado.
On Sept. 16, 1942, she married William A. Ravenscraft Sr. in Boulder, Colorado. In 1949, they moved to Idaho Falls where she worked for several local restaurants. She was the hostess and manager at the Elks Club and the West Bank.
She enjoyed traveling with her brother and spending time with her grandchildren; Brian and Brooke Ravenscraft, Wendy Costello, Kimberly Ayres and great-grandchildren; Willie, Tiffany and Noah Harrington.
She is survived by the following: sons: William A. "Bill" (Charlene) Ravenscraft of Idaho Falls James C. (Marietta) Ravenscraft of Amarillo, Texas 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Harrington and Darrin Ravenscraft
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2006, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services.
