Lois Ann Maedke Rush, 81, passed away May 26, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 26, 1926, to Gustave and Dorothy Drake Maedke, of Kingsford, Michigan. In l945, she came west and worked for 20 years in food services, and later 10 years at at Westmark Credit Union. She has lived in Idaho Falls since 1961.

She enjoyed solving all types of puzzles, writing to pen pals, re-modeling old houses, and interior decorating. She was married to Edward Richards and later divorced. She married Robert LaMar Rush, of Rome, Georgia, in 1974. He passed away in l980.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at the Hope Lutheran Church, 2071 12th St. in Idaho Falls with Pastor Jerry Reinke officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. Burial will be at the Malad City Cemetery, Malad Idaho.
