Lola "Gayle" Evans, 90, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. Gayle was born April 20, 1925, in Shelley, Idaho, to Del and Blanche Hanks. She lived in Firth and Shelley until 1939, when the family moved to Darlington, Idaho. She married Osborne A. Goetz, in November, 1946. They were later divorced. She married Jack Evans on February 14, 1953, and they lived in Mackay. Jack died in 1991. She continued to live in Mackay until 2000, when she became ill and moved in with her daughter Sande, in Idaho Falls. In 1960, Gayle started Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. In June, 1963, she was baptized. She enjoyed telling friends, family, and neighbors what she had learned from the Bible. Survivors include: daughter, Sande Goetz of Idaho Falls; daughter, Kathy (George) Mason of Camas, Washington; son, Martin Goetz; brothers, Kent Hanks of Leslie, Idaho; Lee Hanks of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; sisters, June Storer of Arco; Connie (Llynn) Wornek of Elko, Nevada; and Sherlyne Landon of Mt. Home, Idaho; and 4 grandchildren. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1420 Jefferson Avenue, Idaho Falls.
