Loretta "Lori" Helen Hefner, 54, of Idaho Falls, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. On March 7, 1960 Lori was born to Grace Trujillo in Jersey City, NJ. She moved to Denver when she was two years old. In 1978 she graduated from Lincoln High School in Denver. Lori married her true love, Ken Hefner, on December 9, 1988 in Saint Anthony, Idaho. In 1995 they moved to Idaho Falls. Together they raised three daughters and one son; Danielle, Christina, Sarah and Joshua. She was a Christian and lived her life as a great example to her family. She believed in God's great love for her and enjoyed reading and highlighting in her bible. Some of Lori's other interests were sun-bathing, reading, drawing and attending to her numerous plants. Her family will remember her "green-thumb" forever, along with the way she was always committed and faithful to her family. Lori was happiest when she was spending time with her family, and doing different activities like camping. Lori will be missed by many and remembered for her loving smile and infectious laugh. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hefner, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter, Danielle (Justin) Barrett, San Rafael, CA Daughter, Christina (Brad) Helgeson, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter, Sarah (Tiffany) Hefner, Idaho Falls, ID Son, Joshua (Elizabeth) Hefner, Idaho Falls, ID Sister, Karen (Tarry) Rahne, Denver, CO Sister, Kathy Shaw, Aurora, CO With a large extended family in Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Shaw. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the Water Springs Church, 4250 South 25th East, Idaho Falls. Pastor Rick Brown will be Officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary.
