Lori Lynn Nielson-Jeffers, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully May 21, 2022, in Rigby, Idaho at home due to complications with Cancer.

She was born to Loring R Nielson and LaDawn Ridd Nielson, on March 2, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was married to Ron Westergard for 25 years living in Magna, Utah, and later married Stephen Jeffers, living in Phoenix, AZ who preceded her death.  She later met her best friend and boyfriend Jeff Makin and they lived in St. George, Utah, he also preceded her death.

Lori worked as an apartment manager for many years, a career she loved, until her cancer began in 2014.  Lori went through treatment and thought she had this beat, unfortunately the cancer came back.  She fought a very hard and very long fight, but the cancer just took over.  She was one very strong and brave woman.  She enjoyed boating and jeeping with her best friend, Jeff Makin and camping with her family.  She loved to travel, her most recent vacation she went with her niece, Brenda to see her daughter, Heidi in Branson, MO and was so excited to see her newest grandson, Journey.  She loved being with family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survived by son, Wayland Barker (Miriam), daughter Heidi James (Rick St John), daughter, Bryce Johnson (Derick), Brother Mike Nielson (Karren), Brother Terry Nielson (Melissa), 16 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren. Many Nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loring R Nielson & LaDawn Ridd Nielson, brother Randy Nielson, husband Stephen Jeffers and best friend and boyfriend, Jeff Makin.
