Lorraine Betty McAllister Sill, 82, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at her home. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

She was born October 14, 1925, in Portland, Oregon, to Roy James and Lillian Emma Werth McAllister. She grew up in Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1943.

On March 1, 1955, she married Claude W. Sill. They just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lorraine loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Claude W. Sill of Idaho Falls; daughter, Claudia L. (Jeff) Clark of Idaho Falls; 2 sons, David S. Sill of Shelley, and Doug Schoeneman of Vancouver, Washington; twin sister, Corrine B. Busbee of Walnut Creek, California; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother and her infant son, Steven Sill.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls, under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
