Louise Edith Westergard, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Teton Post Acute Rehabilitation Center. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Louise was born on June 21, 1939, in Fountain Green, Utah, to Grant and Edith Madsen Ericksen. She was raised in Murry, Utah, and graduated from Granite High School in 1957.

On October 1, 1957, she married Wilford J. Westergard and together they raised 4 children.

Louise loved spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She loved to travel, camp, boat, and ride motorcycles. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Randy) Nielsen of Coeur d'Alene, ID; sons, Russel (Linda) Westergard of China; son, Randy (Shelli) Westergard of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Ron Westergard of Idaho Falls, ID; her brother, Harold (Myrna) Ericksen; Fourteen Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Wilford Westergard; Father, Grant Ericksen; Mother, Edith Ericksen; brothers: Paul (Beth) Ericksen, Edward Ericksen, Dave Ericksen; sister Kay (Ken) Hawkins.
