Luna Ofelia Cornia of Rexburg, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah due to medical complications of the heart.

Luna was a sweet baby girl that loved to interact with Mom and Dad. Luna always smiled at her Mom when Mom unswaddled Luna after Luna's nap time. Luna loved her bath time and playing in the water. Luna was always so mellow when she was in her stroller, she loved going for walks. After Luna was done eating at night when she was going to sleep, Luna would always purse her lips like a little duckbill. Luna brought inexplicable joy to her family and will always be in their hearts.

She is survived by her mother, Lucero, and her father, John; grandmothers Joan and Ofelia; grandfathers Mike and Jorge.

Funeral services for Luna will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 17th, 2021. The funeral will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel at 744 N 600 E, Firth Idaho. Interment will follow in the Goshen Cemetery in Shelley, Idaho. The service will be broadcast on the Coltrin Mortuary and Crematory Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Luna fue una dulce bebé a quien le encantaba interactuar con sus padres. Luna siempre sonreía a mamá cuando terminaba sus siestas, amaba ducharse y jugar en el agua. También le encantaba salir a pasear en su carreola con sus padres. Luna trajo un gozo inexplicable a su familia y siempre estará en sus corazones.

El servicio funerario será el Viernes 17 de Diciembre a las 12:00 pm en la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en Firth, Idaho. El servicio será transmitido por internet en la página de facebook de Coltrin Mortuary and Crematory.
