November 6, 1954 – July 25, 2018
Lynette Kay Dunn, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.
Lynette was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on November 6, 1954, to Edwin and Ruth Allen. She grew up in the Idaho Falls area and attended Shelley High School. She married Tom Bergman in 1972 and they had two children, Adrian and Heather. They later divorced. In 1980, she married her soulmate, Tobe Dunn. They had one child, Rachel.
Tobe and Lynette were married for 38 years. In that time they created many happy memories as they shared their lives together. They adored each other and had a love that was one of a kind.
Lynette worked at Rite Aid for 22 years and Walgreens for 7 years after the companies merged. She enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles, and spending time with family and friends. Her home was always open to anyone who wanted to visit and she loved having company.
She was a loving wife and mother, but especially a fantastic grandma. The part of her life she was most proud of was being a mom and her family always came first. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and went all out decorating for Halloween and Christmas. She always made an extra effort to make birthdays special. She loved being in the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Palisades was her favorite place. She was an excellent cook and took pride in creating delicious dishes to feed her family.
Lynette is survived by her husband, Tobe; children: Adrian (Asia) Bergman, Heather (Stuart) Crofts, and Rachel (Ryan) Carlson; sisters: Carol (Alan) Radford and Jenni (Ken) Nielsen; brothers: Jim (Lois) Allen and Jake Conrad; and grandchildren: Stefan, Aaron, Julian, and Jakub (Adrian), Alex, Andy, and Ayla (Heather), Emily and Zachary (Rachel).
