Margaret Georgia Hebdon, 88 of Idaho Falls, passed away January 22, 2013, at Lily and Syringa Assisted Living in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Hands of Hope. She was born January 10, 1925, in Englewood, Colorado, the seventh of eight children born to Vernon Karns and Charlotte Jones Karns. She grew up and attended schools in Colorado. She attended Idaho State University Trade School in Pocatello. On April 1, 1943, she married John L. Marker in Vancouver, Washington. He passed away in 1973. She married Kendall Hebdon. He passed away in 1998. Besides being a homemaker, she worked for Farmers Insurance from which she retired. She was also involved with the Civil Air Patrol. She enjoyed helping her husband, John, refinish furniture. Margaret was associated with the Methodist Church. She is survived by the following: Daughters: LaDeana (Roy) Leavitt of Idaho Falls; Janet (Don) Haines of Colorado; and Dixie (Ralph) Silva of Florida; Sons: John Marker of Oregon and Steve (Nancy) Marker of Minnesota; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by both husbands and seven siblings. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. in Pocatello, Idaho.
