Marie Deschamps
Marie Deschamps, 67, of Rio Verde, Arizona, and formerly of Idaho Falls, died January 29, 2006, at the Scottsdale Memorial Hospital of a lingering illness.
She was born November 4, 1938, in Idaho Falls to Thomas Nessen and Georgia Williams Nessen. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School.
In November 1957, she married Bill Deshamps in Nevada. They have enjoyed 48 wonderful years together. They moved to Rio Verde ten years ago.
She was President of the Arizona Women's Golf Association; a volunteer worker with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Development Workshop, and she was a T-ball coach.
She loved painting, bird watching, spending time with her grandchildren and her special Aunt, Ellenor Lords.
She was very caring and loved her family.
She is survived by the following: husband, Bill Deschamps of Rio Verde, Arizona; daughters: Tammy (Kevin) Saxton of Boise and Susan (Randy) Williams of Wellington, CO; sons; Randy Deschamps of Rigby and Tony (Lisa) Deschamps of Idaho Falls; sister, Betty Nessen of Tacoma, Washington; brother, Ray Nessen of Idaho Falls; and 9 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy, Larry and Harry Nessen.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006, at the Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
