Marie Kay (Simpson) Rollene, 72, of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, August 28, 2017, at Lily and Syringa. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.

Marie was born on December 30, 1944, in Tampa, Florida to Alfred E. and Clara M. Hults Simpson. She grew up in Caledonia, New York. She graduated from Caledonia-Mumford High School in 1962.

On June 14, 1997, she married Roger L. Rollene in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Rollene, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her son, Michael Hart, of Downey, Idaho; her step-sons: Jason (Chantelle) Rollene, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Ryan (Amy) Rollene, of Kensett, Iowa; her step-daughter, Melissa Shoopman, of Belmond, Iowa; her sisters: Claire (Gary) Swift, and Darlene (John) Pike, both of Caledonia, New York; her sister-in-law, Virginia (Richard) Cheyne, of Porirua, New Zealand; 15 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
