She was born August 4, 1933, in Litchfield, Nebraska, to Ervin L. Shrader and Eithel Parkhurst. She grew up in Litchfield and Casper, Wyoming. She graduated in 1951 from Natrona County High School.

She married Neil Edward Brennan on April 22, 1966 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He died on June 17, 1984.

She was employed by the Long Beach school systems doing clerical work and also at J.C. Penny's.

She was involved in Meals on Wheels.

Marian was always full of life and loved her family very much; especially her grandchildren, Ian Meno, Andrew Kinsey, Erin Meno, Faith Johnson, Chase Meno, Ariel Rezek, and Russell Raudman, and her great grandchildren Corben Slutz and Rieley Johnson.

She is survived by the following: daughter, Marina McDonald of Ashland, Oregon son, Dan McDonald of Alta, Wyoming daughter, Laura Raudman of Idaho Falls 7 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Brennan, her parents, and two brothers, Jack and Fred Shrader.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Long Beach, California.
