Marjorie Dawn Huntsman, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living of Chubbuck. She was under the care of Symbii Home Health and Hospice.

Marjorie was born on February 6, 1939, to Donald Mark Jones and Virginia Lowder Jones in Ammon. She grew up in Ammon and attended Bonneville High School, graduating in 1957.

On July 2, 1958, she married Terry Lane Huntsman in the Idaho Falls Temple. They welcomed 6 children to complete their family. After almost 64 years together, Terry passed away on April 24, 2022. She called Idaho Falls and Island Park home.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various leadership positions. She was also a lifelong member of a social group known as “Club”. She enjoyed sewing, canning, crafts, and homemaking. Marjorie was a dedicated wife and mother. She spent her life loving and serving her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a friend to many.

She is survived by her sons: Peter (Jill) Huntsman of Ririe, Sid (Radene) Huntsman of Grant, Merrill Huntsman of Idaho Falls, and Shawn Huntsman of Grant; her daughters: Trina (Steve) Benson of Cedar City, Utah, and Jennifer (Scott) Smith of Pocatello; her brothers: Garth (Nancy) Jones of Idaho Falls, and Mark Jones of Boise; her sister, Evelyn Holder of Boise; 13 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Huntsman, and her daughter-in-law Julie Huntsman.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
