Martha Fullmer Bradley, 88, of Idaho Falls, died at the home of her daughter on March 6, 2008, of complications following a stroke. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
She was born November 28, 1919, to Charles M. Fullmer and Gladys E. Clements Fullmer in Tetonia, Idaho. She grew up in the Teton Valley and graduated from Teton High School in 1938. She attended and earned an associate degree in education in 1940 from Ricks College.
On October 25, 1941, she married Kenneth Ray Bradley in Tetonia, Idaho. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1967. He passed away April 18, 1989.
She was a teacher in Teton County. Later she worked at Fresh Pak in Lewisville. She also was a custodian at the Idaho Falls Temple.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings in music, teaching and as a member of the Relief Society Presidency. She served a mission with her husband in Hartford, Connecticut in 1979. She was also involved in genealogical extraction.
She enjoyed doing genealogy, spending time with her family, crocheting, reading and working outdoors.
Martha was small in stature and a lovely lady with a large heart who loved her family both here and beyond the grave.
She is survived by the following: son, Ray (Sylvia) Bradley of American Fork, Utah; daughter, Launa (Bill) Walker of Idaho Falls daughter, Linda (Alexander) Steed of Roanoke, Virginia; son, K. Reed (Kathy) Bradley of Torrance, California; daughter, Louise Johnson of Idaho Falls; son, Roger (Betty) Bradley of Rigby sister, Sara (Leon, deceased) Haugh of Rigby; sister, Veda (Johnny) Strickwerda of Spokane, Washington; sister, Merle (Cecil, deceased) Lofthouse of North Ogden, Utah; sister, Grace (Bill, deceased) Taylor of Idaho Falls sister, Venece (Delbert) Killian of Idaho Falls; sister-in-law, Venice (Lester Fullmer, deceased) (Mike) Nelson of Highland, Utah 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Sally Ann Bradley; a granddaughter, Sirena Bradley; and a brother, Lester Fullmer.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008, at the LDS Ward Chapel, 3370 N. 5th W. Idaho Falls with Bishop Tadd Jenkins officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening, March 9, 2008, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls and Monday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia at 3:00 p.m. following the services on Monday.
