Marvin Eugene Hayden, 83, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016, in Nampa, Idaho.

Marvin was born June 2, 1932, in Burley, Idaho to Carl Hayden and Ann Doerflinger Hayden.  He grew up and attended schools in Burley.

He served in the National Guard.

He married Karen Holms in Burley. They divorced. He married Alice Fortner. They were later divorced. He married Sandra Palmer Hayden.

Marvin was the Construction Superintendent for Holms Construction, Burggraf Construction, HK Construction for twenty-two years and for Beco Construction.

He loved the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, boating and playing pool with his friends. When he was younger, Marvin played in a band.

He was a very handsome man with a beautiful smile. He was a man's-man and he had lots of friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hayden of Idaho Falls, a daughter, Shellie (Rob) Riding of Burley; a brother, Don "Butch" (Sharon) Hayden of Burley; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ann Hayden; a brother, Wayne Hayden; a daughter, Tara Hayden and a son, Scott Hayden.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Market Lake Cemetery in Roberts.
