Mary Maxine Everett, 78, of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Shelley, Idaho, died August 15, 2010, at Kindred Homes Phoenix. She was born March 4, 1932, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Theodore Roosevelt Twitchell and Leona K. Kelley. She grew up in Shelley and graduated in 1950 from Shelley High School. She attended Heninger Business College. On March 30, 1949, she married Edsil Ray Everett in Shelley, Idaho. She received her endowment in the Idaho Falls Temple. They lived in Shelley for a time and then moved to Middleton, Idaho. They have spent the last 30 years in Arizona. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through the years she served in many callings. She was a realtor in Scottsdale, Arizona for 15 years. Maxine enjoyed reading and history. As a family, we would describe Mom as a hard worker who always lived life to the fullest. Maxine had an infectious smile and laugh that all enjoyed. We love you mom. She is survived by her husband, Ray Everett of Phoenix; daughters: Raylene (Steve) Dick of Idaho Falls; Kathleen (Lloyd) Chadburn of Sellar Creek, Idaho; and Deanna (John Whitley) Everett of Marsing, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson, Traiton Ray Dean Mc Bride. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2010, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. August 22, 2010, at the mortuary and one hour prior to the services on Monday. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado, or a Hospice organization of your choice.
