Maryah Dawn Camp, 24, of Idaho Falls, passed away on November 30, 2023, at her home after battling cancer. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Maryah was born in Rexburg, Idaho on November 22, 1999, to Misty Camp. When Maryah was young, they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. She attended Bonneville High School.

On October 6, 2023, she married Taylor Schmier in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her first job was at Jack in the Box. She worked at Broadway Fields Assisted Living and her last job was with Mountain View Hospital. She loved taking care of people and she worked as a caregiver for most of her short life.

Maryah was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, keeping up with social media, and spending time with family and friends, especially her 'chuckies'.  She was full of life, and she cared about and loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was a light in the lives of all who knew her. She also loved to sing, draw, and dance. She loved pineapples and butterflies. She tried to spend every chance she could with her seven siblings. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Maryah was spontaneous and had a gorgeous smile. She has a smile that could turn a bad day into a ray of pineapple sunshine!!!

She is survived by her wife, Taylor Schmier of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her parents, Misty and Raúl Velasco of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Marcelina, brother, Adolfo, brother, Joee, sister, Evangelina, sister Xzayda, brother Raúl, brother Yadiel; in-laws, Michael and Amanda Fiedler; brothers-in-law: Jayden (Kaylee) Schmier and Braxton Fiedler both of Idaho Falls; sister-in-law, Trinity Fiedler of Idaho Falls; and niece, Ember.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Linda; great-grandmother Joan.
