Mason Jack Schwieder, 21, 2022, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 3, 2022, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital from difficulties of Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy.

Mason was born on November 30, 2000, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Jay Thomas Schwieder and Sarah Marie Towne Schwieder. He grew up in Idaho Falls. He graduated from Bonneville Online High School in 2020. The family lived in Ephraim, Utah and Butte, Montana before settling in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed attending various Institute classes for the church. He served as a primary teacher and as assistant executive secretary. He enjoyed going to the temple.

Mason participated in 4-H showing cattle. He was involved in scouting. He played the guitar and participated in several recitals. Mason loved to write music and go to Utah Jazz and USU basketball games. He loved being involved on the farm with his family.

The thing he valued most in his life was his family. He cherished and enjoyed each and every moment he had with every one of them. Every one of his siblings, cousins, and every family member was a support to him and he loved them dearly.

He is survived by his parents: Jay and Sarah Schwieder;  his sister, Brenna Schwieder; brothers: AJ Schwieder and Ammon Schwieder; grandparents: Ken and Susan Dicus, and Jack and Myrna Schwieder.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Jarin Jay Schwieder.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Coltman Ward, 12448 North 5 ^th East, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls and one hour prior to the services.
