Mateo Gonzales-Loredo, age 70, from Rigby, Idaho passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1950, in La Misa Sonora Mexico. He was a fun and loving person who was always the life of the party. He loved being with his cats, especially walking down Yellowstone with one of his favorite cats by his side.

He was an active Catholic who loved and praised his paintings and candles of the Virgin Mary.

He had a long career in farming and logging. He worked at GPOD Produce for the last 11yrs. His Family consisted of Juan, Juana, Teresa, Santos, and Jesus also his parents- his father Victoriano and mother Estefan Rivera who have since passed away but will welcome him with loving and open arms.

He is survived by Juan Rivera, Leona Rivera, Martina Rivera, Salome, and Petra Rivera, Martin and Delia Rivera, Guillermo and Felipa Rivera, Antonio, and Maria Guerrero, and Memorio and Cerila Grimaldo. Mateo had many nephews and nieces who will miss him very much. Our family would like to thank Yolanda Flores (niece) and Martin Rivera (brother) who took care of Mateo during his last few months.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Holy Rosary, 145 S. 9 ^th Street, Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 1st Street, Idaho Falls, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fielding Cemetery, 4600S Yellowstone Ave. The family asks that masks be worn to all services.
