Matthew Leedy Robson, died at his home in Idaho Falls on December 28, 2009. He was born October 2, 1974, to William Robson and Pam Leedy Robson in Fontana, California. He later moved with his family to San Gabriel, and Ventura, California, before moving to Idaho Falls where he attended school, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1993. He was active in hockey, soccer, theater, jazz band, and DeMolay. He attended Boise State University where he received a summer internship to work on the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. He then moved to Portland, Oregon, where he received his degree from the Western Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. He served his culinary internship at Disney World, in Orlando, Florida. He was a chef at The Sandpiper in Idaho Falls; The Old Spanish Trail Inn in Tucson, Arizona; and The Yellowstone Valley Inn in Cody, Wyoming. He is survived by his mother, Pam Leedy Robson McCue; stepfather, JG McCue; aunt and uncle, Jeanie and Jim McCoy of Idaho Falls; an uncle, Richard Leedy, and cousins, Jackie and Angela Leedy, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Matt was preceded in death by his father, William Robson; a brother, Dylan Leedy Robson; grandparents, Tommy and Glenny Robson and Langdon and Marjorie Leedy; and an uncle, Brent Robson. Matt was unsurpassed in his love and compassion for animals, and would be honored if donations were made in lieu of flowers to The Bonneville County Humane Society, P.O. Box 2763; Idaho Falls, Idaho 83403-2763. A celebration of Matthew's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church,270 N.
