Maxine Huskinson Porter, 86, died January 24, 2026, of causes related to old age at Fairwinds in Idaho Falls. She was born March 28, 1939, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Arvilla May (Wasden) and Kenneth William Huskinson.

Maxine married Darrell G. Whitehead. They were parents to four children: Connee Daryl White, Richard George, William (Bill) Dee, and Michael Kenneth. They later divorced. She married Steve L. Jenkins. He died in 2011. She married David O. Porter in 2012

Maxine is survived by her husband, David; two sons, Richard and Michael; two stepchildren, Shawnee Grant and Keenan Jenkins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, children, Connee and Bill; her husband, Steve; and her two brothers, Ralph and Robert.

An Open House in her honor will be held from 2-5:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, at Fairwinds, 3310 Valencia Drive, Idaho Falls, Idaho. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
