Meredith Findlay Bush, 67, of Idaho Falls, died May 8, 2011, at her daughter's home in Iona. She had been under the care of Creekside Hospice. She was born July 31, 1943, in Long Beach, California, to Fred Elliot Findlay and Lois Arnold Findlay. She grew up in Reseda, California in the San Fernando Valley. In 1961, she graduated from Reseda High School. She attended San Fernando Valley State College and studied to become a dental hygienist. She lived a short time in Industry, Pennsylvania; Alaska and Venezuela. She moved to Idaho Falls in 1966. Meredith worked at Pioneer Book Store, Hy-way Drug and for school District 93 from which she retired in 2004. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was active in Daughter's of Utah Pioneers. Meredith enjoyed traveling with family and friends, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and Brazilian embroidery. Meredith was a beloved mother, friend, cousin and auntie. She adored her three grandchildren: Jordan, Kiesha, and Nauddia. She is survived by the following: Son, Daymon Findlay (Keshia) Bush of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Monica (Richard) Zimmerman of Iona; Brothers: Fred (Amy) Findlay of Camarillo, California, and Kirk (Darlene) Findlay of West Hills, California; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Lincoln 2nd Ward LDS Church at 3700 E. Lincoln Rd with Bishop Derick Attebury officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:15-12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery in Annis, Idaho. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
